Why?

Why is it that when you’re looking for something, you don’t find what you’re after, but find loads of other random shit that you don’t need? I’m looking for my camera for the Walton on the Naze Carnival 2005 tomorrow (silly git I am, I can’t find it :-( ) when I find:

  • One old camera
  • A rounded IDE Cable
  • 1.1ghz Athlon Socket A CPU
  • Remote control for my TV
  • 10GB IDE HDD I didn’t even know I had…

…someone help my find me camera :p

I’m working through my *to-do* list, slowly. Summer doesn’t feel like summer for the simple reason that usually in summer I’m a lazy bastard who lounges around doing bugger all. Well this year I’m the same to a certain extent but Im trying to get stuff done as and when it comes up. I’ve still got to finish sorting out my aircraft site, my Flying Legends ‘05 review as well as my main site. Jamierees.net is up and running now, which is nice seeing as I have had no time (or ideas mind you) to actually do it. I’m thinking of changing this site seeing as I’ve grown bored of the design now – it’s too small and too dark so I’ll start to work on a revision someday.

Anyway school’s been interesting – lugging computers and stuff around at work doing stuff, cleaned out the IT office which is now looking rather sweet now seeing as it’s actually tidy. :)

Students Voice actually has a login script now which is powering the members only part over at the students lounge. Glad that’s done, now I can work on making it more secure – gonna make sure all the passwords are md5 hashed into the database, although I might have a look at SHA1 seeing as it’s reputed to be more secure than standard md5 I am told.

Jamie.
