Sweet sixteen!
So it was my 16th birthday yesterday (5th April 2006)..well happy birthday me!
I’m 16, do I feel any different? no. Was I excited about my birthday? not really..well except the party 
I suppose it’s the first year where you’re actually supposed to be excited to a certain extent I guess..woo I’m 16! Like when I was younger, I used to say to myself I can’t wait to be 16 (not because of the fact you can join the TA, have sex or buy smokes + gamble), but because it was an age where you were supposed to be more accepted into the world as an adult and not a scrawny little kid who gets up to loads and loads of mischief, lol.
Because my 16th was / is supposed to be a “special” birthday, I thought I’d put on some banging party for all the wonderful folk I happen to know. Originally conceived as an April fool joke, I told people my party was going to be on April 1st. When I did, most people said “yeah cool I’ll be there”, but some people still had the cheek to question “Are you trying to mug me off in front of my pals? that’s on fucking April Fools day!”
In terms of the party (which was, if you haven’t already guessed it on was on Saturday April 1st), apart from loads of people being sick outside in the car park of the hall I’d hired and the fire extinguisher getting nicked and Emma Barden (sorry, I couldn’t resist telling people :p) pulling the coat rail off the wall when she was pissed, the party was great!!! lol, but that was all part of the fun I guess!
Ergh I had to go back the next day and brush up people’s puke…great fun after a bacon sarnie xD
My friend Ricky (aka LxRixTa) bought his whole rig along and I took my rig along and we put on one hell of a lighting show, although we felt at the end of the evening that 19 fixtures (compromising of mainly magic gobos + scanners and a few other non DMX disco lights such as a set of Vasto’s) just wasn’t enough..sorry, we’re mad.
I really had fun though, and I hope every one else did as well..well, a lot of people said ’twas a great party so I’m happy

Hey it was a great party! u had 2 clean it all up, well guess who watched it all appear! hey the next party will have 2 b bigger tho! mayb we can take over the columbine center, thats been trashed b4 we get there!
